Santa Susanna

Santa Susanna is located on the North of the Costa de Barcelona-Maresme and is situated between the sea and the mountains near the Montenegre-Corredor National Park and of course the beautiful blue sea which graces the coast. Santa Susanna is situated on a 12.5 km² area between two other resorts called Pineda de Mar and Malgrat de Mar.  Within this 12.5km² area, you will also find the “Turó de Montagut" (215m), “Turó de la Guardia" (241m) and “Turó de Miralles" (335m), 3 small mountains which sit behind the resort.

This part of the Costa Barcelona-Maresme has been growing for a long time as a tourist destination meaning that it now offers more than 15,000 hotel rooms.

Santa Susanna has a modern feel to it and offers tourists all they could ever desire from a beach holiday.  The resert has top class beaches, brilliant sporting facilities both in Santa Susanna and in the immediate vicinity and a boat station offering a wide range of water sports.  With all this in mind, its easy to see why Santa Susanna has been awarded the Family Tourism and Sports Tourism award.

In the old town of Santa Susanna, those interested in architecture or historic sites can visit the church, the old kernel or the "Can Rates" house where various plays and events are hosted on a regular basis.
