The hotel is not a piece located in the Gothic Quarter, the hotel is part of it. The neighborhood imbues each of our rooms with scents, bustle and life. Around the hotel we find markets, the Cathedral, Las Ramblas and much more. The room is the window to this world named Barcelona.
Our Essential Rooms offer avant-garde design in a 25sqm space overlooking the hotel's landscaped inner courtyard. The essence of Ohla turns into a room for your comfort and enjoyment with all the essential services of the hotel.
In a space of 26sqm, the Design rooms offer, as their name suggests, modernity and avant-garde style in a more daring room concept. We have placed the glass walls and rain effect shower in the center of the room so that it is visible from the whole room. White and black merge with the water creating a unique game. If you prefer a larger space, we offer you the Design Deluxe with 31sqm to enjoy.
Should you wish more privacy, we can cover the shower walls at no extra cost.
Our Junior Suites are designed for those who wish to add a plus to their stay: more than 40sqm, chaise longe sofa, double bed (or two single beds on request), large windows, a spacious bathroom open to the room with shower rain effect, and a bathtub where you can take one of the baths offered in the menu by our bath-butler.

Under the dome that crowns the neoclassical building, we find our most exclusive Suite, the Suite Dome: a two-storey penthouse of 80sqm and 13 meters high bathed in natural light that enters through the imposing windows, and an enviable terrace where you may have breakfast while observing the metropolitan life.
The ground floor of the Suite Dome houses a spacious living room with sofas, television, a table for six people and the terrace. The bedroom is on the upper floor with a King size bed, a private dressing room and a bathroom open to the room with a daring glass shower and a spectacular bathtub.
There is also the possibility of adjoining the proximate room to the Suite Dome creating an exclusive space, the Penthouse Suite. It is perfect for families of four or for guests traveling with an assistant.
The architect, Dani Isern
The project, which Daniel Isern created in his time at ABAA studio, was born out of the architect’s commitment to the building and what it represents. Each element, each corner, each piece of furniture, could tell its own story. The most significant is the one that has led it to be known in the city as “the hotel with eyes”, thanks to the work by Frederic Amat on the façade: one thousand pins topped with pupils looking out over the city. But the hotel is much more than one piece of art...
“Maintaining dialogue with such a significant piece of art, the whole building is a quiet balance of light and shadow. Each room gives the best view on offer from such a special location. At the same time, the other spaces, from the rooftop terrace to the ground-floor restaurants, have all been designed as an exercise in stage design. They feature top-quality materials and exquisite lighting, which all come together to make moving through them natural, fluid.”
