The dishes by our Chef Fran López are an open window to his roots: les Terres de l’Ebre. The chef recreates the landscapes and flavours of this authentic land in each dish to take us to the banks of the Delta, among native birds and rice fields. Raised among cooking stoves, his tradition has placed him on the Barcelona scene by being at the forefront of Restaurant Xerta, awarded with a Michelin Star.
The Delta del Ebro is the creative source of the gastronomic proposal in Xerta Restaurant, awarded with a Michelin Star since 2016. This wild land of ocher and green tones gives shape to the dishes of Chef Fran López. His creations, his work, have an honest and close character, made with top quality local produce from the Ebro. Fresh products with avant-garde touches of Asian inspiration and French nouvelle cuisine.
Every season our chef rethinks the menu and prepares a new gastronomic proposal to invigorate the experience. The Ebro river is constantly changing and so is our restaurant. In addition, you may enhance the flavors by pairing with wines proposed by our sommelier Javier Camps.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and our Chef Fran López knows it well. He has created a unique breakfast to enjoy sitting, placid, reading the newspaper and savoring every bite. We offer a complete buffet with local produce, fresh and varied.
Have breakfast to your liking thanks to our range of possibilities. From a classic breakfast with eggs, toasts and bacon; going through a lighter one with fresh fruit and cereals; or the typical Catalan breakfast with sausages, “pa amb tomàquet” (bread with tomato) and olive oil.
